We are proud to announce EggAI. A project supported by HighFive in cooperation with FERI Maribor.
EggAI is a game-changing solution designed to drastically reduce food waste in canteens and food service establishments by leveraging the power of artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning techniques. The consequences of vast amounts of food waste for the environment, economy, and society are significant and alarming. The EggAI module, using advanced machine learning algorithms, will analyze the order history of each individual and classify them into one of several specific groups based on dietary preferences, allergens, and frequency of visits. Based on these groups or profiles, the system will be able to accurately predict demand for individual dishes and create customized daily menus. This will enable optimal inventory management, increase kitchen efficiency, reduce food waste, and increase customer satisfaction.
